Beware of Telecoms Fraud

Communications fraud is becoming increasingly common in the UK. It is defined as the use of telecommunications products or services without the intention to pay for them. It may also be known as Toll Fraud or Call Phreaking. This type of fraud occurs when someone dials into your phone system, and uses your telephone lines to route calls at your expense. Business Directors Banned over False Invoicing

Four directors of a company based in Colne have been banned from acting as directors for 6 years after it was discovered that their firm raised false invoices. It is believed that over invoices were created totalling more than £218,663 which were false. To read more of this post click here
